Health Complex, Zakigonj, Sylhet.
my Midwifery Diploma from Dhaka Nursing College Dhaka in the first batch of Bangladesh.
Following this I joined government service as a midwife from June 2018, after
taking the BPSC exam. Over one year from
April 2020 to April 2021 I worked as a young midwife Leader (YML) of BMS in Sylhet
Division. During Corona crisis I worked my
level best for midwives. There was good
communication with everyone before but after becoming YML my sense of responsibility
has increased. As a leader I try to solve
problem by carefully listening and analyzing the issues. Now as an active member of BMS I am working
to increase memberships – engaging with midwives in the UHCs, as well as
members in Government and private Nursing colleges in Sylhet division. I am motivated by a passion and drive to improve
the working environment and the curiosity and commitment to keep learning
throughout my career. This has been my
motivation to join the BMS Executive Committee, and to nominate myself as Joint
Secretary of BMS.
will do my best to maintain good relations with all midwives in Bangladesh. I
will do my best to solve any problem or need they may have in consultation with
my team members in the committee and the relevant authority. BMS is a platform to create unite as and if I
am elected and hold a post I will take this responsibility.
